Barbie World

7 floors, just for Barbie. A mixture of a museum and a giant Barbie shop ! A few decades ago, I would have been staggered !

Anyway, it is with some feeling that I remembered the good times of my childhood when Barbie was ruling unchallenged in my room. It’s really quite simple, I collected everything ! Barbie’s house, Barbie’s Ferrari, Barbie with closely shaven head, Barbie, Barbie, Barbie …

On the last floor, the café Barbie : pink and twinkling cupcakes, Barbie Burgers, Barbie bubble tea … and finally, the catwalk of Barbie !

  32. Yeah, I agree, I thought Barbie and I would never part… Funny enough I ended up with exactly 50 Barbies but only 1 1/2 Ken (one was sadly broken in half…). My sister and I were always fighting for the intact one; why did I never get another Ken? =D

  98. Salut Betty, j’adore ton article sur Barbie car peu de gens (plus particulièrement les femmes) parlent des “Barbies” alors que l’on a toutes été des fans plus ou moins pendant notre enfance ! Je pense qu’il ne faut pas renier cette passade et je suis fière d’avoir jouer avec ces Barbies tout comme toi ! :)
    Juste aussi pour te dire que ton blog est génial est que j’adore ton style ! Je me passionne depuis l’âge de 13 ans pour la mode et peu de filles comprenait mes goûts vestimentaires un peu “olé & osé” ! Je vais bientôt avoir mes 17 ans et je fais déjà 1m84 (–”) , soi-disant taille mannequin et tout le monde me le dit mais même si j’ai une passion pour la mode, je n’ai pas envi de devenir mannequin…Bizarre non ? La ville où j’habite est loin d’être au niveau de Paris (Orléans) , disons que lorsque je reviens de mes achats parisiens (très rares par manque d’argent –’), mes amis me trouvent “au top de la mode” alors que lorsque je vais à Paris je vois bien que je suis loin d’être au top ! Mais bon c’est comme ça ! :) Je sais pas pourquoi je te raconte tout ça car tu dois sûrement t’en ficher ^^ !
    Je voulais aussi te montrer l’une de mes dernières découvertes en matière de chaussures !     encore un article plein de magie pendant ces périodes de fêtes !
    Je reste une irréductible lectrice de ton blog mais j’ai été quelque peu surprise de voir que tu avais risqué de faire “un syncope” ne pensais-tu pas plutôt à “une syncope” ?

I was the same when I was a kid :D I used to collect everything about Barbie, the house with the elevator, the camper, the bicycle, all the horses, the bath tub, I even had Barbie’s laundry room!
